Built by one person
Web design in San Antonio, built to bring you work
I design and build websites for small businesses, then keep them fast and current. Every site is hand-built, written for a real person reading on a phone, and structured so search engines and AI assistants understand what you do. You pay once for the build, and the site is yours.
Start your projectWhat makes a site carry its weight
Most people will meet your business on a phone, in a hurry, with three other tabs open. So that is where I start. The first screen has to say what you do, where you do it, and what happens next. Everything else follows from that.
I care more about load time than decoration, so I build by hand, without page builders. Pages load quickly, nothing breaks when a plugin updates, and there is no theme you are stuck fighting later.
Then there is being found. Pages get real headings, clean structure, and the markup that tells Google and AI assistants what your business is and who it serves. A pretty site nobody finds is a business card you paid too much for.
If you sell a service, you are in the hospitality business. Your website is the front desk.
It should greet people, answer the obvious questions, and make it easy to book, call, or send a message.
Three ways to build it
A one-page site is the right call when you have one thing to sell and one action you want people to take. Everything lives on a single scroll: what you do, proof, and a way to reach you. It is quick to launch and easy to point ads at.
A business site of up to five pages fits most owners. Home, services, about, a page for the thing you actually make money on, and a contact page. Enough room to speak to different customers without turning your site into a maze.
The Signature build is designed from scratch around how your business really works. Multiple service pages, locations, a booking flow, whatever the job needs. This is for owners who have outgrown a template and know exactly what their site has to do.
All three are a one-time fee. No monthly payment for the privilege of having a website, and no platform holding your files hostage. When we are done, you own the site outright.
How the build goes
We start with a sitemap. Before anything gets designed, we agree on what pages exist, what each one is for, and what you want a visitor to do on it. That one conversation prevents most of the trouble that shows up later.
Then I build. You get two consolidated revision rounds, with a seven-day window to send feedback each time. Consolidated means you gather your notes and send them together instead of a trickle of texts over three weeks. It keeps the project moving and it keeps my attention on your site instead of on scheduling.
After the second round, we launch. If you want, a flat monthly fee covers hosting and upkeep after that: updates, backups, small content changes, and keeping the thing fast. That is optional. Take the files and host them yourself if you would rather.
You work with me the whole way, with no account manager or ticket queue in between. I am one person in San Antonio, I started my first business in New Jersey in 2020, and I have clients in Texas, New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina. I also run a gym-specific brand called Digital Gym Growth.
What a rebuild can do
I relaunched the site for a boutique fitness studio in June 2026. Comparing the three months before to the three months after, Google impressions are up 137 percent and clicks are up 68 percent. Tracked website leads went from zero to an average of twelve a month. Zero ad spend behind any of it.
A local home service business I built for now ranks in Google's top 3 for 26 searches, including the number 2 spot for its main money search, five months after launch.
In both cases the site did the work: pages Google can read, fast loads, and a clear path to the appointment.

Fair questions
How long does a build take?
A one-page site is usually a couple of weeks. A five-page business site typically runs three to five weeks. A Signature build depends on scope, and I will give you a real timeline before we start. The schedule mostly depends on how quickly content and feedback come back, which is why the seven-day feedback windows exist.
Do I actually own the site?
Yes. The build is a one-time fee and the site is yours, files and all. If you ever want to move it or hand it to someone else, you can. I will not hold your domain, your hosting, or your files over your head. Owning it outright is the point.
Can you work with my booking system or CRM?
In most cases, yes. Booking platforms, scheduling tools, payment links, CRMs, and email lists can be built into the site so leads land where you already work. Tell me what you use during the sitemap conversation and I will give you a straight answer on whether it fits or whether there is a better option.
What happens after launch?
Nothing breaks and nothing expires. If you want me to keep it running, there is an optional flat monthly fee that covers hosting, updates, backups, small content changes, and keeping the site fast. If you would rather host it yourself, take the files and go. Plenty of clients keep me on because they do not want to think about it again.
Tell me what you are trying to fix
Send me a note about your business and what your current site is or is not doing for you. I read every message and I reply myself, usually within a day. If a new site is not the right move for you, I will say so.
